Summer may be in full swing, but we’re already dreaming of fall… fashion that is. Runway shows are already underway and fall trends are on everyone’s mind in the fashion industry. We understand if you’re not quite there yet, but layers, sweaters & booties will need to be brought back to life at the front of your closet soon! We’ve gathered a few ideas on how to slowly transition out of summer clothes and into fall.
1. Jackets: A light jacket or blazer will turn any outfit into a chic and well put together outfit. Plus, how often are you freezing in the office, coffee shop or movie theatre? A jacket or blazer can easily be removed and put back on, which is why it’s our number 1 tip! Versatility!
2. Mix in deeper hues: no need to get rid of your fun bold prints or shorts just yet. Add a deep plum blouse to a pair of geometric-print shorts and you’ve still got a fun & festive print but now you’re using deep fall colors rather than the neons or pastels of spring/summer fashion.
3. Tights: they are a summer dress’s best friend in the fall. An adorable shift dress or flare, tights can drag these frocks lifespan out a fee extra months!
4. Sandals: wear them until your little piggies have to step in leftover Halloween candy! If weather permits, of course! There has never been a can’t wear post labor day death sentence placed upon this beloved summer item like our good friend the white pants.
Another reason to take current stock of your fall items is that we are starting to accept fall consignment items! Most often we see our customers swoon over designer handbags from Chanel, Hermes and Tory Burch and gush to their friends about the fantastic brands they’ve found at Clothes Circuit like Rag & Bone, Seven for all Mankind, J Brand, Lululemon, Northface and more! Top searches of our customers for fall 2014 will be for jeans, booties, sweaters and of course, jewelry from our favorite designers like David Yurman, John Hardy and Ippolita!
Receiving hours are Monday – Friday 10am to 6pm and Saturdays 10am to 4pm. Please remember that quality and appearance are important to our customers, so we ask for apparel that is cleaned, pressed, in excellent repair and on hangers. Items should be free of pet hair and fragrance or smoke odors. We do not offer repairs. We will not accept faux or counterfeit designer goods of any kind. Pricing or receipt documentation for fine jewelry & handbags is most helpful. Visit our website for complete details on our consignment policy.
